Creative Art Club
The Creative Club is a relaxed weekly art club where you can try different creative techniques, enjoy making things and spend a couple of hours doing something purely for yourself!
Each week there will be a new creative project to try, from printmaking to drawing, collage to needle felting and loads more. The timetable will be emailed to you after you book. You can then reserve the dates you want to come.
It’s a friendly, supportive environment and no previous experience is needed. Everything is guided step-by-step and all materials are provided. Along with tea/coffee and biscuits!
Projects will include:
Botanical printing – creating layered prints using gel plates, plants, textures.
Needle felting – sculpting wool into small decorative pieces
Drawing with charcoal sticks, pencils and chalks – exploring tone, line, and expressive marks.
Pastel drawing – we’ll look at the work of Degas’ Dancers, to learn soft colour and mark-making techniques.
Collage and mixed media – combining papers, textures and colour. Referencing the work of Matisse.
Experimental ink drawings – learn to use inks and washes with wax resist.
Block printing – designing and printing your own repeat patterns. Inspired by the artist - Angie Lewin.
Seasonal creative projects inspired by nature
Who It’s For:
This class is designed for complete beginners.
It’s ideal if you:
Haven’t done any art since school and would like to start again
Want a relaxed creative hobby without pressure
Enjoy trying different materials and techniques
Would like a friendly, social class
No previous experience is needed and all materials are provided.

Held at Kirsten Norbury Art Studio 3A, Star Brewery, Lewes.
Booking Options
To keep things flexible, you can book blocks of sessions and use them when it suits you.
2 classes - £50 a good way to try a class
4 classes - £100
6 classes - £135 best value - save £15
Once booked, I’ll send you the timetable for the coming 6 weeks. Please confirm which dates you can attend via email as places are limited to 10 per class max.
