Escape to the sun-drenched vineyards of the South of France for a restorative and inspiring artistic retreat. Set in a beautiful historic winegrower’s house in the charming village of Saint-Geniès-de-Fontedit, close to the vibrant city of Béziers, this retreat offers the perfect balance of creativity and relaxation.
The spacious five-bedroom house hosts just four guests, ensuring an intimate and unhurried experience. With a private swimming pool and a large walled terrace, you’ll have plenty of space to unwind, paint, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of French village life. Expect delicious food, inspiring surroundings, and time to properly switch off as you immerse yourself in a truly memorable painting holiday.
Itinerary:
Friday 5th June
11.50am flight from Gatwick to Montpellier, transfer to house from the airport.
Arrive in the afternoon at the charming, winegrowers house in Saint-Geniès-de-Fontedit
Drinks and dinner on the terrace.
Saturday 6th June
9am - Breakfast
10 - 12pm - Morning painting session with Kirsten Norbury
Lunch by the pool
2pm - 4pm - Afternoon painting session
Time for a rest/swim/walk in the vineyards
7pm Dinner at the beautiful nearby - Chateau St Pierre de Serjan. Exquisite decor with sophisticated dining to match.
Sunday 7th June
9am -Breakfast
10 to 12pm - Morning painting session with Kirsten Norbury
12.30 - 4pm - Picnic lunch and boat trip on the canal du midi with sketching (weather permitting)
Time for a rest, you can take a swim or walk round the village taking in the views of the vineyards.
7pm - Dinner at La Maison de petit Pierre in Beziers. A mix of vintage, modern decor. Serving classic French cuisine with a modern twist.
Monday 8th June
7.45am - Breakfast and transfer to airport.
11.25am - Flight departs from Montpellier to London Gatwick (arrive 12.20pm)
